The 4th SSBU Academic Training programme was successfully concluded on Dec 21, 2017

The 4th SSBU Academic Training programme which started from the 1st December to 20th December 2017 was successfully concluded yesterday at Sasanalankara Mong Phone Monastery, Hmawbi, Yangon.

The images you are seeing now are some taken photos in class running from the first day to an end of programme.

The four academic training lecturers were as follows.
(1) the Most Ven. Prof. Dr. K. Dhammasami known as Oxford Sayadaw, DPhil (Oxford), SSBU founder
(2) Dr. Aleix Ruiz Falques, PhD (Cambridge), an independent scholar and translator based in Manipal, Karnataka, India & Research Fellow at the project Mapping Medieval Sciences in Southern Asia (Singapore University of Technology and Design)
(3) Dr. Dr. Pyi Phyo Kyaw, a lecturer from King’s College, London
(4) Prof. Dr. Anuja Ajotikar, a Sanskrit scholar

The programme was under the leadership of the Most Ven. Prof. Dr. K. Dhammasami, DPhil (Oxford), SSBU founder, SSBU.

In addition, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our meal generous donors from December 1 to 21, 2017, care takers and senior monks from Sasanalankara Mong Phone monastery for providing us in everything we need during the training period.

Our heartfelt thanks also goes to Ven. Mahosadhalankara, PhD Candidate(Perade niya University, Sri Lanka), SSBU, the abbot of Sasanalankara Mong Phone monastery, Yangon for providing us accommodations, foods and other necessities.
