Teaching of the Second Sermon of the Buddha, Anatta-lakkhana Sutta, by the Venerable Dr K. Dhammasami at YBAT, Bangkok. The lecture was delivered in Thai.
The gist of the lecture: In contrast to the popular outlook of people who tend to personalise their experience, this anatta teaching encourages people to universalise their experience.
In the process of doing that, they need to analyse their experience into five components and ask themselves questions if any of the five is unique to them or universal to all.
Human experiences, no matter how individual and personal they may appear, are fluid, not static. They are not a thing but a process.
